A Queer In The Life

so i was thinking the whole day yesterday about what to write about today and then i remembered how angry i’d gotten on sunday because of a conversation my mother and i had about service delivery. At first i thought i was getting angry over stupid things but then i realised we need to start getting F$#@ing angry about the shit service we’re getting in our country.

my small example is my hair. jesus my blood is starting to boild already. so anyway. my 21st was last week and i had been growing my hair for about 6 months before so that i could have a really nice cut for the party. that might not seem like much but anyone that knows me, knows that i hate long hair and generally shave my head once a month.

so Anyway… i decide that the new hair salon in Hemmingways mall is a franchise and the stylists are all from jhb so they should know what they are doing. well this fairy boy who doesn’t even know he’s gay was the one to cut my hair. i had brought in a picture and he said he could do it easily. price being R240. so i tell him not to take any length off and that it must be platinum blond. i’ll let the picture speak for me…..

so what the fuck is happening to the service delivery in this country? this might be something small, but i dont think any companies in south africa are up to the standards they could be!!!!!!

Yo. so this is my first blog and i have absolutely no idea what to say…. figures. but i guess I’ll follow blog tradition and just tell you what’s on my mind and what this blog is gonna be about.

i’ve always wanted a place to vent my interests, annoyances and just generally whats bugging me and what i’m thinking about. so this will be mostly about me…lol but also i want this to be a site about other interests as well. so if i read a book i like or watch a movie i like or play a cool pc game i’m gonna try do some sort of review about it.

this is mostly for me and for my own use but I’d really like it if you guys come back every now and then and just leave a comment on something or tell me something you’d like me to review before you go waste money on it….

i think the first thing i’m going to write about will definately be twilight…. i tend to get really into things like this. i had heard about it a year ago and seen a preview when it was on at the movies but it never really interested me as such…. and the i watched the movie. i have now become just short of obsessed with the lives of the cullens and bella. in the last nine days i have read the first three books and half of the forth and i find myself wondering what to do when i reach the end…..really hope stephani decides to write book 5. lol. 

going to go watch new moon today for the second time. after that i know i’m going to finish the book and have nothing to do. so please recommend another book.

cool – well thats enough for today.  Because this is new i might do another post tonight but if not then check back tomorrow and i’ll have definately posted something else.
